Collected, named, and introduced by Mark Collins of Plant Group Hawaii. Stem, ligules, petioles, and undersides of leaves are finely pubescent. Upper leaf surface is glabrous. Inflorescence is obvate with tight reddish-brown bracts. Bracts have a green stripe from bract tip along centerline. Flowers are reddish-orange. Labellum is yellow with pink-red stripes.
