Interesting bract to leaf transition, new
Found in Peru. Collected, named, and introduced by Mark Collins of Plant Group Hawaii. Stems are green with truncated ligules. Leafs are narrowly elliptic. Upper leaf surface is glossy where as underside is pubescent. Inflorescence is composed of overlapping foliaceous bracts. Flowers are light yellow and somewhat fragrant.
