Found in tropical Africa. Collected, named, and introduced by Mark Collins of Plant Group Hawaii. Stems are primarily green and speckled with purplish dots. Ligules are lobed and green to purple. Leaf upper surface is green and glossy with acuminate tips. Inflorescences are basal and terminal. Inflorescences are ovate, consisting of green bracts and often excrete a clear gel like substance. Flowers are white with yellow a labellum.
