Costus woodsonii 'Indian Head'

Very attractive, good as a cut flower.

 

This variety is the compact form of its species. Vegetative parts are mostly glabrous. Leafs are elliptic and light green. Inflorescence is glossy with tight red bracts. Calyx is reddish-orange and corolla is yellow.
